Dentures

Comfortable, natural-looking full and partial dentures, plus implant-secured options.

Modern dentures are a long way from the bulky, obvious dentures of the past. Today's full and partial dentures are custom-made to fit your mouth and shaped to look like natural teeth — restoring your ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.

A partial denture replaces several missing teeth while your remaining natural teeth stay in place; a full denture replaces a complete arch. For a more secure fit, dentures can also be anchored onto dental implants so they do not shift or click. We will talk through which approach suits you, and the CDCP covers dentures for eligible patients.

Frequently asked questions

Will dentures feel natural?

There is an adjustment period of a few weeks while your mouth gets used to them. We fine-tune the fit during that time, and most patients are soon eating and speaking comfortably.

Are dentures covered by the CDCP?

Yes — dentures are an eligible treatment under the Canadian Dental Care Plan. We will confirm your coverage and direct-bill Sun Life.

What are implant-supported dentures?

They are dentures that clip onto a small number of dental implants, so they stay firmly in place instead of relying on suction. They are especially helpful for lower dentures, which tend to be less stable.
