Dental Implants

Permanent, natural-looking tooth replacement that looks and works like your own.

A dental implant is the closest thing modern dentistry has to a natural tooth. A small titanium post takes the place of the missing tooth's root, fusing with your jawbone, and a custom crown is attached on top. The result looks, feels, and functions like your own tooth — and it does not rely on the teeth next to it.

Implants also protect your long-term health: a missing tooth lets the jawbone shrink over time, and an implant is the only replacement that stops that. Implant treatment takes place over a few months to allow proper healing, and your consultation with us is complimentary, so you understand the plan and the cost before committing to anything.

Frequently asked questions

How long do dental implants last?

With good oral hygiene and regular checkups, implants can last for decades — many last a lifetime. The crown on top may eventually need replacing, as any restoration can.

Is getting an implant painful?

Implant placement is done under local anaesthetic, and most patients are surprised by how comfortable it is — often easier than an extraction. Any soreness afterward is usually mild and short-lived.

Does the CDCP cover dental implants?

No — implants are not covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan. We offer a $1,000 implant saving and can arrange financing, and you will receive a clear written estimate at your free consultation.
